GODDESSENCE:

ancestors and descendants, reunion and ritual, purpose and place

We stand between our ancestors and our descendants, the bridge between those who were and those yet to be.  We experience reunions and ritual with our people, anchoring us to life. We stand on holy ground, inhale the soul of a place in our childhood, remember its sounds and smells.  We continue to be seasoned by the rocks, rivers, fields, lakes, prairies, and sky, as we pay attention to nature companions as message-bearers. We listen deep to the voice inside that calls us to express our original blessing. Goddessence  a word that came singing in my mind this summer as I was writing about the animation within all this connection

My new book, Goddessence offers poetry, prose, and photograph to honor these Essentials. It is available at the Joyful Jewel in Pittsboro, where she will be doing a reading  on Saturday,  September 14^th at 2 pm. Also available, are related clay totems, cards, prints, and beaded items.
